On April 10, 2024, the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2024 were announced. For this ranking, institutions are assigned a ranking in 5 Broad Subject Areas and 55 Narrow Subjects. For the 2024 edition, a total of 4,989 universities worldwide were surveyed, with 1,559 institutions assigned a position in the rankings.

Keio University ranked in the highest number of Narrow Subjects to date, placing within the top 400 universities for 26 Narrow Subjects, and among them, within the top 150 universities worldwide in the following 7 subjects.
