Keio University has decided to fully cooperate with the vaccination of approximately 50,000 students, faculty, and staff members in accordance with the policy announced by the government to begin vaccinations against COVID-19 (coronavirus disease) at the workplace.
As a university with the three medical faculties of the School of Medicine, Faculty of Nursing and Medical Care, and Faculty of Pharmacy, Keio, with the cooperation of not only the Keio University Hospital but also related hospitals and the alumni associations of our three medical faculties, will work toward bringing the COVID-19 situation under control with the aim of ensuring that classes and student activities can take place without restrictions.
Detailed information on the schedule, method of making reservations, etc., will be announced once determined.

Vaccine: vaccine manufactured by Moderna, Inc., supplied by the Japanese government
*1 The vaccine produced by Moderna, Inc., is for people who are 18 years of age or older. Only university students and older are therefore eligible to receive this vaccine.
*2 Includes part-time lecturers, employees of certain contractors, etc.
