Discontinuation of the Keio University Infection Response Center for COVID-19

The Keio University Infection Response Center for COVID-19 was established on February 4, 2020, as a way of collecting and consolidating vital information for Keio students, faculty, staff, and prospective students, as well as providing essential updates and organizing vaccination programs to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Having fulfilled this role, the center was officially closed on March 31, 2024.

【Keio University Infection Response Center for the 2019 novel coronavirus established】
On February 4, 2020, Keio University established the "Infection Response Center for the 2019 Novel Coronavirus" on campus. In cooperation with related departments across the university, the center will collect and collate information concerning the 2019 Novel Coronavirus in addition to raising awareness among students, faculty and staff members, and applicants to the university on preventing infections. It will also make decisions on other required measures and release information about these on the Keio University website, etc. (March 5, 2020)

【Measures for staff members】

With the aim of preventing the spread of infection by COVID-19 while commuting, Keio University has implemented measures such as the promotion of staggered work hours suitable for the characteristics of each department to encourage off-peak commutes as well as the introduction of telework (working from home) for its staff members.
