October saw the start of Fall Semester classes across each of Keio's campuses.
And while many of Keio University's courses were forced online in Spring Semester 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fall Semester has been a mix of online classes and in-person instruction on campus, where we are making every effort to ensure effective infection prevention. Some faculties, such as the Faculty of Science and Technology, School of Medicine, and Faculty of Pharmacy, are once again back in the laboratory conducting hands-on training and experience with real equipment.
Here we share what campus life looks like at Keio in 2020. Students are gradually spending more time on-campus for hybrid classes, which incorporate online classes and in-person instruction, and making use of study rooms where they can access their courses online.
